The Pi-KVM requires a USB splitter cable in order to emulate keyboard/mouse/drive as well as receive power. It is possible to construct your own splitter cable with their instructions. However, for those who do not wish to splice their own cable. I’ve made a simple PCB that accomplish the same thing.
You will need to following cables:
(1) Standard USB Type A to USB Type C cable.
(2) Standard USB Type A to Micro USB cable.
(3) Optional USB Type A extension cable. You do not need this cable if you plan to plug the PCB directly into the USB AC adapter.
